The Annual Sugarloaf Heritage Day celebration is this Saturday.This yearly event showcases the efforts made by the Sugarloaf Heritage Council to preserve and enhance Sugarloaf Mountain in Heber and the extensive trail networks that have been constructed over the years for the enjoyment of tourists and residents alike.

This year’s event will have many of the same traditional offerings, including food, live music by New Direction, face painting, games, a bounce house for the kids, a presentation by the Cleburne County Historical Society, a raffle, and door prizes. New this year will be a digital scavenger hunt on the trails.

Heritage Day will be Saturday, May 20, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the ASU-Heber Springs Administration Building.
