Trent Whitehead  of the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission spoke to the Cleburne County Rotary recently regarding boater safety.  Some of the points he made were:  life jackets must be sized to fit, kids 12 and under must wear, there must be proper lights on boats too.

If you were born after 1986 you must take boater education course at, find under education. This can be done online or in an instructor led class.

One point Whitehead wanted to make clear is in regards to boating and drinking. This is an automatic suspension of driver’s license and revenues from tickets goes into  a county fund for education.
