Kelsie Kennedy is the 2017 recipient of the $1,000 Cleburne County 4-H Foundation Scholarship.  The 4-H Foundation established this scholarship in 2010 to assist county 4-H members in their pursuit of a higher education.

Kelsie has been very involved with her swine project.  She has won overall showmanship at the Cleburne County Fair, is a member of the Arkansas Purple Circle Club by showing the Grand Champion Chester White Gilt at the Arkansas State Fair and she also exhibited the Supreme Breeding Pig at the North Central Arkansas District Fair. Kelsie has been involved in numerous other activities during her 5 years as a 4-H member.

Kelsie will be attending Arkansas State University in Heber Springs this fall with plans of studying pre-pharmacy.

The 4-H pledge states, “I pledge my head to clear thinking, my heart to greater loyalty, my hands to larger service, and health to better living for my club, my community, and my world.”  Congratulations to Kelsie for following the 4-H pledge and achieving her goals.
