During the recent Grand Opening of Cowboy Chevrolet they invited the community to come in and bring a toy to put in one of their trucks. If customers purchased a vehicle and brought a toy they received an additional discount on the vehicle. Brett Huskey, General Manager of Cowboy Chevrolet said the dealership agreed to match whatever the community brought in. Wednesday afternoon they drove two Chevrolet pickups full of toys to New Life Church where the Arkansas Dream Center has their “Christmas Mall” set up.

Huskey said, “Next year we are going to start a lot earlier so that we can donate even more toys!” Huskey, along with Brad West and Colby Kennedy delivered the toys and helped unload them with Arkansas Dream Center and New Life Church volunteers.

Arkansas Dream Center Director Dave Hill said they have been thrilled at what the community has done to benefit kids in need. Hill and wife, Brenda have been working hard to continue meeting the needs of those in Cleburne County with a food pantry and toy drives every year. “The people of Cleburne County are very giving,” Hill said.
