Ronald Long Jr. was captured this morning, January 17, in a joint effort with the Cleburne County Sheriff's Office, Probation/Parole Special Response Team, and the US Marshal Service.
Ronald Long, Jr. who was wanted in conjunction with an escape from a patrol car on Sunday, January 14. Long and another individual were pulled over by deputies in a traffic stop. Long was placed in handcuffs in the back of a patrol car, where he managed to escape and flee on foot.
It was reported on the Wednesday, January 17 edition of The Sun Times.
In a joint effort with the Cleburne County Sheriff's Office, Probation/Parole Special Response Team and the U.S. Marshall's Service, Long was captured this morning and is now being held at the Cleburne County Detention Center.
Long is being charged with Possession of meth less than 2 grams, 3rd Degree escape, Fleeing, Theft, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of marijuana less than 2 grams.
