The Heber Springs Jazz Band is set to perform in the first of what many hope will become an Annual tradition here in Heber Springs. That is the Community Valentine’s Day Ball to be held from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m., on February 12 in the Fellowship Life Center of the United Methodist Church.

The students have been working hard to learn many of the hits from the 50’s, 60’s, 70’s and 80’s that everyone loves to dance to. Tickets for the event are $20 per couple or $12 for singles and may be purchased at the administration office of the high school.

The Jazz Band consists of Alto Saxophones: Beau Tucker, Angela Wilson, Parker Ables and Zac Stone;

Tenor Saxophone: Maddy Allen; Baritone Saxophone: Brett Morgan; Trombones: Garrett McCollum, Hugh Humphries and Wade Dickerson; Trumpets: Jaden Evans, Selden Humphreys, Natalia Durham and

Cameron Hardy; Guitar: Jacob Stine and Nathan Wright; Electric Bass: Mary Katherine McKenzie; Piano:

Selena Childress and Drum Set: Ethan Hackworth.
