After six years on the Pangburn City Council and four years as Pangburn Mayor, Todd Slayton says he has enjoyed a life of public service. “I’ve enjoyed watching projects come together to improve the community.” Slayton told The Sun Times. Now that he no longer lives in Pangburn he wants to continue serving the Cleburne County community by running for Justice of the Peace in District 4.

“I just want to do my part,” he said.  While at Pangburn he headed up re-doing the walking track, put bathrooms at the park, quite a bit of street repair and built up a stronger Senior Citizens program. He also helped start up the Christmas parade.

Working for the Pangburn council for ten years he has experience with budgets and government. While at Pangburn he also upgraded fire trucks using grant money. He also worked getting the police department the most updated equipment.

Slayton owns Pizza Pie-Zazz in Heber Springs. He has two children, Erica who cuts hair at Superhair and 7 year old Stone.
