The Heber Springs Lions Club held their 51st Annual Auction at the

Suddenlink studios in Heber Springs. Over 205 auction items were available to be bid on. The auction was broadcast live on Suddenlink Channel 6 beginning at 6 p.m. and going until 9:30 p.m.

Cowboy Chevrolet’s Brad West, Brett Huskey and  Dylan Mattingly helped by announcing the items and keeping the bids coming in, Dawn Teer, Editor of The Sun Times also put in time announcing, as did Dr. Joseph Sugg, Lion Gene Elliott, Lion President Angela Decker and Lion Jack Lindsey. Other volunteers Rena Kelley, Lion Chris Stafiej, Dawn Gillespie,Kim Stake and Ronda Bauer  helped man the phones for the bidders calling in.

Pizza Pie-Zazz fed the group both nights.

Lions Clubs around the world help with vision testing and helping those who are blind to find resources to live better lives. Their motto is “We Serve”.
