A federal grand jury indicted Ryan Edward Offineer, 41, of Muldrow on Thursday for sexual exploitation of minors.
According to the U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Oklahoma, the indictment alleges in June 2013 Offineer coerced two people under the age of 18 to engage in sexually explicit conduct “for the purpose of producing any visual depiction” that have been mailed, shipped and transported in interstate and foreign commerce.
The crime is punishable by not less than 15 years imprisonment, a fine up to $250,000 or both.
The indictment further alleges that from June 2013 to March 2018, within the Eastern District of Oklahoma, he possessed visual depictions involving minors engaging in sexually explicit conduct. This crime is punishable by not less than 10 years imprisonment, a fine up to $250,000 or both.
The charges arose from an investigation by Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), according to Assistant U.S. Attorney John David Luton.
