Paws at the Beach was held Saturday, October 6, at Sandy Beach. Approximately 50 runners participated in a 5K run and about 20 walkers took place in a 1K walk. Many participants brought their four legged friends to participate too. The event was held as a fundraiser for the Heber Springs Humane Society. Organizers were please with the turnout and the funds raised for the shelter.

Diamond Sponsor of the event was the Cleburne County Animal Clinic run by Dr. Braden Cato. Clinic employees and Cato’s family were present to give out goody bags to participants. Sartain Animal Clinic’s Dr. Ryan Sartain also helped out at the event, also giving out items for pets.
