Drasco native Don Endsley became the first ever Arkansan inducted into the Texas Rodeo Cowboy Hall of Fame April 8 in Ft Worth, Texas.
For more than 25 years Endsley was one of the most famous voices on the PRCA Rodeo circuit across the USA including the World Series of rodeo, the National Finals, as well as National rodeo telecast.
In Ft. Worth, Texas Friday night Endsley was among a select group of rodeo stars to be inducted into the Hall of Fame at its grand opening weekend located in the historic Cowtown Coliseum next to Billy Bob’s nightclub in the historic Cowtown area of Ft. Worth.
Endsley and wife, Sharon, made their home in Texas for over 20 years and are now back home in Arkansas.  They own and produce their award winning ‘Great American Wild West Show’ and will take the show to the Los Angeles Fair for 13 days this fall with attendance expected over 1.4 million.
Endsley’s brother, Gary ‘Slick the Barber’ Endsley, and family live in Heber Springs.
