Jeannie Morgan, of Drasco, is the first recipient of the Storm Scholarship. Morgan is a full-time student at Arkansas State University-Heber Springs, a center of ASU-Beebe. Morgan is pursuing a degree in business, specializing in health information. She is an active member of Phi Beta Lambda and attends Baptist Collegiate Ministry meetings. She and her husband Danny have three daughters: Jenna, Anna, and Ashlynn. She is also a member of Arbanna Baptist Church in Mountain View. The Storm scholarship was endowed by many family members and friends in loving memory of Steve Storm, the late assistant professor of mathematics and science at ASU-Heber Springs.
