Hundreds of thousands of unemployed people survived the Great Depression because of soup kitchens. They were manned by many different churches and organizations.
In the Bible, Jesus clearly commands us to feed God’s people.
There will be a meeting on Thursday, June 25th at 6:00 PM at Michael’s Restaurant in Heber Springs to discuss setting up a soup kitchen in Heber Springs. All are welcomed, and please let all churches and organizations
know about this important meeting.
Farming For Churches, which is a local non-profit organization, is a ministry to spread the Gospel by supplying fresh food to soup kitchens.
Farming For Churches help soup kitchens supply food by providing needed nutritiously fresh vegetables and fruit to the hungry, or anyone who needs the food.
