A Tumbling Shoals woman arrived home at 2509 Heber Springs Road North around 3:20 p.m. Friday to find smoke coming from a back room.
A man, approximately 35-years-old, attempted to put out the fire and received second degree burns to his arms and legs.
The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
