Downtown Heber Springs is once again hosting “Scare on the Square”, Halloween night. There will be “Trunk or Treating” as well as a costume contest for the youngsters at the courthouse.
The age groups for the costume contest are 0-1, 2-3, 4-6, 6-8, 8-12, and 12-15. Registration forms will be available on site. There will be prizes for first, second, and third places in each age group as well as one grand prize winner for the best overall costume.
Scare on the Square takes place at Third and Main Streets and on the courthouse lawn between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. Main Street, between Second and Fourth Streets will be closed between 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. for the safety of everyone downtown. Lots of fun is to be had by children of all ages.
