Kendall Oran Logan passed away April 3, 2017

Kendall Oran Logan went to be with his Lord and Savior on April 3, 2017 at the age of 93.  Mr. Logan was born on March 16, 1924 in Tumbling Shoals, Arkansas to Macon and Minnie Logan.  He was preceded in death by his wife of 73 years, Louise; his parents; a grandson, Jeff Stair; brothers: Loren, Kenneth, Lester, and Norman Logan; sisters: Elsie, Lola, and Sylvia. He is survived by daughters: Kay Logan and Phyllis (Tommy) Vaughan, five grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren, and a sister, Dorothy Haile.

Kendall served in the National Guard, and worked in an airplane factory in Michigan during World War II.  Kendall and Louise moved home to Tumbling Shoals, then later resided in Heber Springs, Arkansas.  He was a retired owner of Logan Oil Company as well as a charter member of Heber Springs Baptist Church.  He was a Sunday school teacher of youth for many years and a deacon for 65 years. He never met a stranger and was always eager to invite people to church.  Kendall and Louise traveled during retirement and spent time with family and friends.

Kendall provided for his family as well as helping others during difficult times.  He was a loving, compassionate, hard worker, and humble servant of the Lord.  He showed God’s love through his life, words of wisdom, and actions.  He dearly loved his wife and family; showing his love by sharing God’s truth, which was of ultimate importance to him, knowing the eternal impact.  He will be greatly missed, but his Godly example leaves a lasting impression on so many lives. Funeral Services were held on Friday, April 7, 2017 at Heber Spring Baptist Church with interment in Cleburne County Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Family Funeral Service.
