Louona Colleen May Shue Allen passed away May 18, 2017
Louona Colleen May Shue Allen was born July 21, 1931 in the Fairbanks Community, near Quitman, Arkansas to William Adams May and Beulah Mae (Phillips) May. She was 85 years of age and was a member of South Crossroads Church. She dearly loved going to church will all of her family and worshiping the Lord and Savior. Through the long life that Jesus gave her, she worked for Him as best she could. She taught Sunday School classes of all ages from babies to adult. She taught bible studies as well as being the church pianist for many many years. Her hobbies included crocheting and fishing.
Colleen was preceded in death by her parents and six sisters: Annie Hensley, Sibyl May, Gladys Holley, Vesta Declue, Ova Shue and Jewell Bagwell. She is survived by her husband of almost 54 years, Cecil Allen, two sons, Jerry Shue and wife Marilyn of Quitman: Terry Shue and wife Ramona of Delta Colorado: two grandsons, Eric Shue and Sammy Shue, two granddaughters, Tabatha Clark and husband Levi, Sabrina Brooks and husband Cody. One great grandson, Lane Clark and one step granddaughter Maranda and her son Rylan.
A visitation washeld on Thursday, May 18, 2017 at Family Funeral Service and funeral services will be on Friday, May 19, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in South Crossroads Church by Rev. Kenneth Rolland, JR with interment in Flat Rock Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Gary Holley, James Holley Charlie Allen, Dave Allen, Shannon Allen and Tyler Niko. Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Rooney and Steve Priest.
