Charles Pinkey Kennedy passed away July 16, 2017

Charles Pinkey Kennedy of Heber Springs, AR was born September 2, 1940 and left this earth on July 16, 2017 at the age of 76.  He was the son of the late Fred and Lesbia (Jackson) Kennedy.
In his younger days, he was a businessman in Heber Springs having had 4 laundry mats, a dry cleaners, and 2 car washes.  He also worked for the Army National Guard and retired from the US Army at Ft. Sill, OK in September 1996 as a Master Sargent, E-8 with 33 years' service.
Loved ones that  he's left behind include his wife Jill (Bell) Kennedy of Heber Springs.  One son - Charles A "Tony" Kennedy of Tumbling Shoals.  Two daughters - Kelly (Teresea) Kennedy-Dean of Seattle, WA, and Megan (Ben) Damron of Holland, AR.  Three granddaughters - Tara (Bittle) Smith of Conway AR, Paige Kennedy of Fayetteville AR and Gemma Damron of Holland AR, along with 2 great granddaughters - Harper and Haven Smith of Conway.
Pinky's family hopes that he is remembered for his love of life.  He travelled throughout the world and made friends wherever he went.  He was quick with a joke and always ensured that those he loved were taken care of.  He will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.
