Jerry Temple Walker passed away December 25, 2017

Jerry Temple Walker, the son of Temple and Alta Gay Walker, was born in Floral, Arkansas on November 28, 1937. He passed away, at the age of 80, on December 25, 2017 in Searcy, Arkansas.
He was a member of the Banner Church of Christ. He worked as a construction worker and farmer for most of his life. He helped in the construction of the Greers Ferry Dam. He enjoyed hunting and gardening.  He also enjoyed attending "the kids" activities.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Temple and Alta Walker; a daughter, Linda Walker Gabel; two brothers, Albert Butler and Earl Litaker; a sister, Minnie Bell Webster; and a nephew, Greg Walker.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Sylvia Dean Johnson Walker. They married on July 31, 1957. He is also survived by a son, Jerry Michael Walker of Floral; two daughters,  Starla Stubbs (Darrell) of Desha and Tiffany Glover (Jackie) of Hazen; three brothers, Roby Butler (Ann) of Batesville, Dean Walker of Cabot and Lynn Walker (Marilyn) of Bald Knob; a sister,  Beatrice Clouse of Jonesboro; four grandchildren, Aaron Walker, Joe Payne III, Tasha Walker and Samantha Walker; thirteen great - grandchildren, Cayden Glover,  Easton Glover,  Savannah Glover, Payton Glover, Elizabeth Walker, Logan Walker, Laithyn Walker,  Kyleigh-Jo Payne, Joe Payne IV, James Alsip, Alexis Alsip, Jacob Weldon and Hailey McClain. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at Family Funeral Service from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. and funeral services will be on Thursday, December 28, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. in the Banner Church of Christ with burial in Concord Cemetery by Bill McSpadden.
