Betty Ruth Ross (Caldwell) passed away August 10, 2018

Betty Ruth Ross (Caldwell) passed peacefully on August 10, 2018. Betty was born in Higden, Arkansas on October 24", 1935 to Art and Mabel Caldwell. She was the 200 youngest of 9 children,

She was retired from Garrett AiResearch. She made many friends there and enjoyed being involved with their Employee Club.

Betty was a loving mother, grandma, gigi, sister, aunt and friend. She was immensely proud of all of her children, grandkids and great-grandkids. She collected family and friends wherever she went and made them all feel special. She was everyone's grandma. She loved to spend time with her family and friends, laughing and playing games. She loved going to the Diamondback games, playing bingo, shooting pool, going to see plays, fishing and Dancing with the Stars. She did her share of traveling. She was the best cook. She made time for everyone. She volunteered for years through the grade schools “Adopt a Grandparent" program. She loved to laugh and touched us all. She taught us to live, laugh and enjoy each and every day. Family was the most important to her and wanted all distant cousins to know each other. She will be missed.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents Art and Mabel Caldwell, 4 brothers, J.C. Caldwell, Hershel Caldwell, Verlon Caldwell and Alton Caldwell, 3 sisters, Hazel Potter, Maurine Powell and Lois Ruth Caldwell and her nephew Kyle Bradford. She is survived by her son, Steve Ross and partner Dayna Son, Alan Ross and wife Mary Lou and her daughter, Rhonda Christman and husband Michael. One sister Lucille Cullum of Higden Arkansas. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren with 1 more on the way and many nephews, nieces and friends.
