Lois Vernell Bartlett Phillips passed away September 23, 2018

Lois Vernell Bartlett Phillips the daughter of Thomas McCoy and Martha Owen McCoy was born in Quitman, Arkansas on September 18, 1930 and passed away in Bryant, Arkansas on September 23, 2018 at the age of 88 years.

She was a member of Howard General Baptist Church and worked as office manager at Ely Walker Factory in Heber Springs.  She enjoyed playing the piano and organ, painting and whistling.  She loved her family and her church.

She was preceded in death by her parents Thomas and Martha McCoy her two husbands William Parnell Bartlett who passed away in 1998 and Cecil Phillips who passed away in 2006 and a step son in law Stan Crippen. Survivors are her two sons Kenneth (Kenny) Bartlett of Quitman and Gregory (Greg) Bartlett and wife Nancy of Eureka Springs, Arkansas, step daughter Cece Crippen of Vero Beach, Florida and step son Charles Davidson and wife Karen of Benton. Also survived by 4 grandchildren Cheryl Harrell and husband Doyce, Ashley Cathey and husband Josh, Cliff Bartlett and wife Kiri and Matthew Bartlett and 6 great grandchildren besides other relatives and many friends.

A visitation was held on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at Family Funeral Service and funeral services were at Howard General Baptist Church in Quitman, Arkansas on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. by Rev. Terry Mote with interment in Center Point Cemetery with pallbearers: Doyce Harrell, Mason Harrell, Joshua Cathey, Matthew Bartlett, Keith Taylor and Cheryl Harrell, Honorary Pallbearers will be Cliff Bartlett, Lucas Bartlett and Rich Massey.
