Arthur Eugene Hitchcock was born on June 17, 1950 to Leroy and Helen Sutton Hitchcock in Peoria, IL and died on June 10, 2009 in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was a retired handyman and he was of the Baptist Faith.
He is preceded in death by his parents, two sisters Esther Tribbet, Robin Hitchcock, and brother Patrick Hitchcock. He is survived by his wife Molly Hitchcock, a son Arthur Hitchcock, a daughter Cassy Hitchcock, four brothers John Hitchcock of Andalusia, IL, Kenneth Hitchcock of Rock Island, IL, Clyde Hitchcock of Cabot, Larry Hitchcock of Conway, four sisters Lillian Wagner of Cuba, IL, Kathy Kellough, Portland, OR, Becky Hitchcock, Heber Springs, Vickie Kuznick, Heber Springs, two granddaughters, and two great-granddaughters, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be Friday June12, 2009 from 6 to 8 pm at Family Funeral Service and funeral services will be Saturday June 13, 2009 at 11 a.m. at the Pleasant Ridge Union Church in Ida with the Rev. Odell Altom officiating. Burial will follow at the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be his nephews. The family wishes to express their appreciation to the staff of Arkansas Hospice and St. Vincent Hospital. Family Funeral Service 106 S. 4th Street in charge of the arrangements.
