Janet Stair of Heber Springs passed away June 15, 2009 at her home. Born August 20, 1934 in Lincoln, Neb., she was 74. She was the daughter of the late Earl and Alice Barker.
She was raised in Superior, Neb. She married Kenneth Stair on June 20, 1953. The couple moved to Heber Springs in July 1997.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Stair of the home; four daughters, Angela Burton, Melissa Shaw, Kathleen Baggett, and Laurie Wells, all of Heber Springs; a son, James Stair of Tempe, Ariz.; 20 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren and one on the way.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Frances Barber and Sylvia Bain; one son, Randall Stair, and one granddaughter, Karissa Stair.
Graveside services will be held June 17 at 11 a.m. at Friendship Cemetery in Drasco.
