Dannie Ward, age 60, of Heber Springs passed away June 24, 2009. He was a US Navy veteran serving his Country during the Viet Nam War. Born October 27, 1948, in Batesville, he was the son of the Verna Jeffrey Dunn of Heber Springs and the late Howard Hays Ward.
He enjoyed woodworking as a hobby.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a son, Timothy Ward.
Survivors include his wife, Janine Hill Ward, whom he married April 25, 2003; son, Jeffery Ward of Conway; daughters, Dana Cothren of Conway, Callie Ward of Heber Springs and daughter Sara; brother, Sammie H. Ward of Heber Springs; one half-brother, Jerry Ward of Springfield; a half-sister and 10 grandchildren.
Services are scheduled 11 a.m. June 29 at Heber Springs Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. June 29 until service time. Interment will be in Cleburne County Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
