William “Bill” Ross Cooper, 68, was born on August 31, 1941 to Ross and Bernice Clanton Cooper in Stella, Mo. and went to be with our Lord and Savior on February 11, 2010.
He was a devoted husband, daddy and papaw. He was a retired self-employed salesman and he was of the non-denominational faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a granddaughter, Annie Hipp of Prim.
Bill is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Judy Winters Cooper; three daughters, Donna Tinkle and husband, Tim, of Mountain View, Diana Hipp and husband, Tom, of Prim, Debra Meeks and husband, Rick, of Black Rock; and a son, William Cooper Jr. and wife, Sheryl, of Greers Ferry; grandchildren, Jarett and wife, Blair, Ryan and Travis Tinkle, Brent and wife, Amanda, and Shawn Hipp, Jeremiah and wife, Sarah, Cooper, Jacinda and husband, Dustin Watts, Ricky, Dustin and Blake Meeks; great-grandchildren Azriel and Gabriella Hipp, Kaydence Cooper and Daimeon Cooper; four sisters, many nieces and nephews and many friends.
Pallbearers will be grandsons and great-grandsons. Honorary pallbearer will be Don Deskins.
February 14 at the Woodrow Baptist Church in Prim with Rev. Paul Gregg and Rev. Dennis Pigman officiating. Burial followed in the Woodrow Cemetery.
