Marie Alberta (Hansen) Kahland of Rose Bud died February 23, 2010, at the Byrd Haven Nursing Home in Searcy. Born October 7, 1914, at Chalco, Neb., she was 95. She was the daughter of John Martin and Martha (Schwandt) Hansen.
She is survived by two sons, John Martin Kahland of Searcy and Robert Kahland of Glendale, Ariz.; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She is also survived by other relatives and her many friends.
Funeral services will be held February 27 at 2 p.m. at the Rose Bud United Methodist Church with Father Tom Bradshaw and Rev. Kathy DeBusk officiating. Interment will follow in the Rose Bud Cemetery.
