Mr. Thomas J.C. Curton 74, of Greers Ferry, died Tuesday at Baptist Health Medical Center in Heber Springs, AR. Mr. Curton was born in Bay, Ark., and had lived most of his lifetime in Trumann. He co -owned Tom and Jim’s Shop in Trumann and was a member of the Westside Baptist Church in Greers Ferry. Mr. Curton was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Verna Chamberlain Curton. Survivors include his wife, Peggy Bonds Curton of the home; one daughter, Susan Detherow of Springfield, Tenn.; one son, Tim Curton of Higden, Ar.; two sisters, Juanita Dickson of Wickenburg, AZ, and Louise Hudspeth of Ocala, Fla.; one brother, James Curton of Torrance, Calif.; and three grandchildren, Brittany Ewing, Bonds Taylor and Nash Taylor.
Funeral Services will be Friday Morning at 11:00 am in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home of Trumann with Rev. Austin Missey officiating. Burial will follow in the Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery in Jonesboro, Ark..Active pallbearers will be Leroy May, Bobby Stotts, Jimmy Stotts, Jay Parnell, Alvin Mitchell, Mike Campbell, Jiles Pagan and Harold Pankey.Visitations will be Thursday evening from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann, AR.An online register book can be signed at www.thompsonfuneralhome.net.
