William M. Goff, age 82, passed away August 15, 2010 in Heber Springs, Arkansas. He was born October 12, 1927 in Heber Springs, to Irvin and Mary Goff.  He worked with excelsior Farms in the Dairy Industry for twenty-two years in California and then retired to Heber Springs, Arkansas.  He was a member of the Mt. Olive Baptist Church, and a Veteran of the United States Army.
He is survived by his wife Ann Phillips Goff of eight years, one son; Shane Goff and wife Kelly of Dallas, Texas, two daughters; Ranea Woodward and husband Philip of Tampa, Florida and Rhonda Chambers also of Tampa, Florida, two sisters; Irene Thompson and husband Arlus of Pearson, Arkansas, Leona “Doobie” Cooper of Quitman, Arkansas.  He is also survived by five grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Irvin and Mary Goff, his first wife of fifty-two years Betty Baker Goff, one brother, Herman Goff, one sister, Ava Lois Bettis.
A memorial service was held, Thursday, August 19, at the Heber Springs Funeral Home.
