Johnnie Maxine Pearce, age 77, of Heber Springs, Arkansas, passed away at her home on Monday, July 26, 2010. Born in Clarksville, Arkansas, on April 27, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Robert A. and Nettie Walker King.
Mrs. Pearce had been a resident of Heber Springs for more than twenty years and was a former employee of Wal-Mart. She was a member of the McJester Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Tonya Lynn.
Mrs. Pearce is survived by her husband, George Willard Pearce of Heber Springs; three sons, Shawn Pless and his wife, Dee, and Shannon Pless and his wife, Robyn A., all of Russellville, and Timothy Pless and his wife, Susan, of North Carolina; two daughters, Shelia Addison and her husband, Cliff, of West Memphis, Arkansas, and Sharon Wyles and her husband, Paul, of Conway; and 14 grandchildren. Mrs. Pearce is also survived by other relatives and her many friends.
Funeral services will be held Friday, July 30, at 1 p.m. in the Olmstead Chapel with Rev. Denver Gillespie officiating.
