Lavena Hearst of Greers Ferry died February 17, 2010, at the Advanced Care Hospital of White County in Searcy. Born on December 21, 1929, at Miller, she was 80. She was the daughter of the late Weldon J. and Het Haskins Stark.
She is survived by one son, Tom Hearst; one daughter, Peggy Davidson; two sisters, Oretha Jean Stark and Pauline Bailey, all of Greers Ferry; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She is also survived by other relatives and her many friends.
Funeral services will be held February 19 at 2 p.m. at the Higden Church of Christ with Tim Caldwell officiating. Interment will follow in the Shiloh Cross Roads Cemetery.
