William Harvey Donathan, age 90, of Edgemont, passed away Saturday, June 27, 2009, at Baptist Health Medical Center in Heber Springs.  Born at Narrows, Va., on February 28, 1919, he was the son of the late William Isaac and Luemma (Richardson) Donathan.
Mr. Donathan had been a resident of Cleburne County since 1974 and was retired from General Motors Auto in Dayton, Ohio.  He was a veteran of the United States Army.  Mr. Donathan was a member of the Lone Star Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Goldie Donathan of Edgemont; one son, Harvey E. Donathan and wife, Vicki, of Kingston, Tenn.; one daughter, Sandra Clark of Edgemont; four grandsons, Richard Donathan Clark and wife, Monica, of Conway, Bradley E. Donathan and wife, Sheryl, of Crossville, Tenn., William Scott Donathan and wife, Nickie, of Kingston, Tenn., and Matthew Jason Donathan of Atlanta, Ga.; and great-grandchildren.
Mr. Donathan is also survived by other relatives and his many friends.
Funeral services will be held June 30 at 2 p.m. at the Shiloh Cross Roads Church with Rev. Rondal Richardson officiating.  Interment will follow in the Shiloh Cross Roads Cemetery with military honors by the American Legion Honor Guard.  Arrangements are by Olmstead Funeral Home.  www.olmstead.cc
