Keep county dry

Dear Editor,

The issue of wet versus dry is not about the money but about the children. With off site sales the children of this county will have access to alcohol. There will be enough people willing to buy alcohol for he children that will be bad results.

New Port Academy study found that “alcohol plays a role in more than 30% of teen deaths involving accidents, homicide or suicide”. Also the Archives of pediatrics & Adolescent Medicine reported that “47%of those who begin drinking before the age of 14 become alcohol dependent at some time in their lived, compared with 9% of hose that waited at least until age 21”.
