Greers Ferry Mayor Shelly Davis pleads guilty to two felonies

Greers Ferry, Ark. -
Greers Ferry Mayor Shelly Davis plead guilty Tuesday felony forgery and felony theft of property. She has to pay restitution, fines, and court costs totaling over $5,000. She has also been placed on probation for four years.
She was charged after an investigation by the state police into allegations Davis misappropriated funds from the 2008 Greers Ferry Tornado Relief Fund.
A Greers Ferry city employee meeting has been called for 3 p.m. Tuesday, December 22.
