Final report released on Carmikle fatal helicopter crash from November 2008

The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) released their factual, or final, aviation report last week regarding a helicopter crash from November 16, 2008 that claimed the life of Arkansas Game and Fish Sergeant Monty Carmikle of Heber Springs.
The crash occurred around 12:30 a.m. in a field near Quitman while Carmikle and pilot Jerry Fryar were searching for possible night hunters.
