Last week at Goodloe Community Church we had REVIVAL, the first one in over 20 years at the Church. And it was Blessed! We began Wednesday night with Brother Jeff Brown preaching "Revive Me Again", Self revival to produce "The Churches' Revival"! God is going after his people, Church! Are you ready to Stand Up for the LORD, in front of the world and yet humble yourself at the foot of the Cross! Scripture reading, 2 Chron.7:14: “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” Are you ready Church?

Then, Shane Williams from Hector brought the word Thursday night. "Don't look back" the event found in 2 Samuel 18 and 19, where King David mourns the death of his son Absalom, who tried to take over the throne. King David let his mourning overtake him and let the people down, his people, whom God gave him to take care of. Joab put him back in his gate!  Stand/Guard your Gate. Are you protecting what God has given you in this life to watch over?  Preaching, teaching, singing, governing, or serving. It is all the same to God, and necessary for his good service. Are you leaving behind those things that so easily beset you and looking ahead to Jesus. Are you Standing/Guarding your Gate Church?

And to finish the Revival on Friday night Brother Wesley Watts preached the word to us on "Sometimes it take a Mountain". Oh how God used mountains all through the Bible. Noah and the flood and how the Ark rested on Mt. Ararat. Moses and Mt. Sinai, climbing the mountain to be with God and be instructed. Elijah and Mt. Carmel, to prove God is God. And Jesus on the Mt. of Olives  where he would go to pray to God again and again for strength. And that walk he took so beaten and unrecognizable up Mt. Calvary to die for you and me! To save us and reconcile us back to the Father. Revival is for The Church, yes it is, and a blessed event this was and i pray all who attended where as blessed as I. Thursday night there were over 100 people with Special singing by Becky Pierce, she is standing in her gate, what a blessing to here her. And again Friday over 100 in attendance with Special singing by Damascus Road and hearing one of their new rendition of, Sometimes it takes a Mountain. We sang, we worshiped, we listened, I cried, and we fellowshipped. Several other churches and Christian organizations attended. All Praise and Glory goes to Our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ. Come join us for Sunday School at 9:30- Romans 12:12.

May God Bless you and give you Peace.
