The display case in the lobby of Woodlands Auditorium features a series of wooden trucks, designed and built by the Hot Springs Village Woodworkers from 2002 to 2017.
The truck team has built 40 trucks a year for the past 15 years, donating more than half to needy children.
Others are sold, with proceeds covering costs for paint, screws and glue for the next year’s model.
These sturdy trucks – built with the attention and love that only grandparents can express – have put smiles on the faces of boys and girls in four continents.

Imaginations soar as children “drive” their trucks up steep mountain roads, carrying huge loads and popping wheelies at 140 miles per hour.
Make plans to stop by Woodlands to see this collection of custom-made trucks.
