Representative Michael John Gray, Democratic Party of Arkansas Chairman, today announced Diego Quinones as the DPA State Director of Latino/a Engagement.
Quinones joins the Democratic Party of Arkansas following legislative and civic engagement fellowships with the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute in Washington, D.C. and the Arkansas United Community Coalition in Springdale.
“Diego’s leadership and passion for the Arkansan Latino/a community make him the perfect fit for this new position,” said Chairman Gray. “As Arkansas continues to change, it’s important that its leaders actually reach out and listen to its citizens, ensuring that when they engage in the political process that their voice is actually heard.”
“I am unbelievably excited to start working with the DPA, in order to civically engage the growing Latino/a community in Arkansas," said Quinones. "They are ready to exercise their right to vote and elect leaders that will represent their values and principles. I am here to make sure that happens.”
Quinones is a Bentonville native, and he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville.
