Two Heber Springs Middle School students, involved in a recent school bus incident, were expelled for the remainder of the school year at a special meeting of the Heber Springs school board.
School board members reviewed city police reports and the school district's student handbook before voting. A third student was suspended earlier for involvement in the incident.
The incident involved an accusation of "communicating a false alarm."
The three students will be eligible to return for the next school year.
