Applications are now available for six $500 scholarships to be awarded in 2020 by the Cleburne County Extension Homemakers Council. This is the 23rd year that Cleburne County Extension Homemakers Council has offered scholarships to county residents.

These scholarships are for Cleburne County residents enrolling in any field of study, who plan to enroll fall 2020, or currently enrolled with at least 2 semesters remaining. Applicants must have been a resident of Cleburne County for at least six months.

The scholarship may be used at any accredited two or four-year College, university, vocational-technical school, or other approved program of instruction in the United States.

The scholarship is paid directly to the school for expenses incurred in achieving a higher academic status.

Application forms and brochures are available at the Cleburne County Cooperative Extension Service office, 2319 Highway 110 West, Suite D, Heber Springs (501-362-2524), local high school counselors, or any Cleburne County Extension Homemaker Cub member.

The completed application and supporting documents should be postmarked or turned in to the Cooperative Extension Service office by March 13, 2020.

The mission of the Cleburne County Extension Homemakers organization is to empower individuals and families to improve their quality of living through continuing education, leadership development, and community service.
