Benjamin Houston (B.H.) Armstrong was born Dec. 25, 1931 in Ida, Arkansas, and passed away April 22, 2020 in Mishawaka, Indiana. He was born to Benjamin Harrison and Flossie Lewis Armstrong. In 1950 he married Melba Jean Endsley. Shortly after they married they went north to look for work, making their home in Indiana.

In 1952 their son Richard Wayne Armstrong was born. Ben became a carpenter and worked at that trade his entire career. He was preceded in death by his wife Melba, his parents, one brother, Robert Armstrong, and six sisters, Artive Hallsaver, Louise Foust, Hulda Foust, Ethelene Reed, Emogene Reeves, and Wincie Hayes. He is survived by his son Rick (Lou Ann) and two sisters, LaVern Jennings and Linda Vernon of Arkansas. His favorite hobby was fishing and he spent many vacations in Arkansas doing just that.
