Clarence “Junior” Clayton, Jr., age 82, of Searcy, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord on June 17, 2020. Born on April 4, 1938 in Heber Springs, Arkansas, he was the son of the late Clarence and Mary Boyer Clayton.

Junior was a loving son, brother, husband, father and grandfather. He was a member of the Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church. He was a family man and enjoyed spending time with his friends and family, attending his grandchildren’s ball games and family events.

He is preceded in death by his son Keith Clayton, his brothers Bill Reeves, Gene Clayton, Robert Clayton and James Clayton, his sister Martha Clayton.

He is survived by his wife Mary Clayton his son Kenneth Clayton and his wife Lisa, his daughter Lisa Baser and her husband Jesse, his step-children, his 12 grandchildren, his great-grandchildren, his brothers Johnnie Clayton and his wife Sherri, Henry Clayton and Richard Clayton, and his sisters Lela Garrison and her husband Ira, and Linda Reed. Mr. Clayton is also survived by his other relatives and many friends.

A visitation will be held from 1:30 – 3:00pm on Saturday, June 20, 2020 with funeral services following at 3:00pm at Olmstead Funeral Home with Rev. Kenneth Rolland officiating. Interment will follow in the Antioch Cemetery.

Arrangements are by Olmstead Funeral Home.
