Earnest Clifton Stark (91) passed away at his home in Heber Springs on Saturday, May 16, 2020. He was born on January 4, 1929 in Miller, AR. He was preceded in death by his parents Franklin Lee Stark and Ida Mae Bailey Stark, one son Clifton Stark, one sister Nedra Thomas, and three brothers Leo, Bly, and Keith Stark.

He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Ruby Smith Stark, two daughters Pamela Nipper and husband Gary, Stephanie Kendrick and husband Kenny, one daughter-in-law Peggy Stark, two brothers Sanford Stark and wife Coleta, Bruce Stark, seven grandsons Nathan Nipper (Trevlyn), Daniel Nipper (Keturah), Luke Nipper (Christy), Seth Stark (Amanda), Bradley Stark (Holly), Peyton Kendrick, Kollin Kendrick and eleven great-grandchildren.

Earnest served in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict. He retired from First Electric Cooperative Corporation in 1991 with 42 years of service as a lineman and serviceman. His two favorite hobbies were hunting, especially quail hunting and gardening. He was a faithful member of Heber Springs Baptist Church and was passionate about his love for the Lord which he openly shared with others.

The family requests in lieu of flowers for memorials to be made to the SBC International Mission Board in care of Heber Springs Baptist Church, P.O. Box 908, Heber Springs, AR 72543.

A visitation was held on Tuesday May 19 at Family Funeral Service from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. graveside Funeral Services were on Wednesday, May 20 at Cleburne County Memorial Gardens10:00 AM by Rev.
