Joyce Lucille Burton Davis, age 89, of Heber Springs, Arkansas, passed away on June 20, 2020. Born on December 5, 1930 in Heber Springs, Arkansas, she was the daughter of the late John and Ruth Henson Steel.

Lucille was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church. She enjoyed spending time at the Senior Citizens Center, doing word search puzzles, crocheting, and spending time with her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her first husband Frank Burton. They were married on August 17, 1947 until he passed on July 23, 1977, and her second husband Clayton Davis whom she married on August 5, 1985 until his passing on January 1, 2009, her brother Tom Steel, her sister Betty Morris and her daughter Ann Duncan.

She is survived by her children Sue Burton Cooper and her husband John of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Preston “Buzz” Burton and his wife Glenda of Heber Springs, Arkansas, Jimmy Dale Burton of Heber Springs, Arkansas and Ruth Byard of Bay, Arkansas, Jerri Davis of Bentonville, Arkansas and Cathy Strader of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, her 12 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Davis is also survived by her other relatives and many friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00pm on Tuesday, June23, 2020 at Olmstead Funeral Home with Elder John Cooper officiating. Interment will follow in the South Crossroads Cemetery.
