Lee Edward Smith, 82, passed away November 17, 2020. Lee was a big family man and also a retired Baptist Minister. He loved music and actually built his own harp. Lee was a lifelong learner and he obtained a music degree from the University of Memphis. He loved to travel in his RV and also loved running. He qualified for and completed the Iron Man Triathlon. Lee was preceded in death by his two wives, Mary Anne Smith and Arline Chandler Smith. He is survived by four children, Glynne Marie Greene, Janet Daily (Craig), Eric Smith and Suzanne Moyer (Ben); grandchildren, Reuben Smith, Kathryn Greene, Denise Greene, Elijah Greene, Kelsey Hornby, Sara Daily, Gowynn Hunt, Hagyn Smith, John Wilson, Brandon Hardy, Tristen Moyer; five great grandchildren and sister, Joan Ludwig (Jay). The family will receive friends Saturday, November 21st from 9-10 a.m. at Family Funeral Care 4925 Summer Ave Memphis, Tenn., 38122 with the service to follow at 10 a.m. The burial will take place at Memphis Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens 3700 N Germantown Rd, Bartlett, Tenn., 38133.
