Lois Saxton Smith Zaye passed away on Jun 19th, in North Little Rock, Arkansas, at the age of 79 years. She passed away peacefully, surrounded by her five children.

She was preceded in death by her parents Katherine and Jack Saxton, her son, Anthony Smith, her granddaughter Jamie Brown, and husbands Kenneth Barnard, Floyd A. Smith and Lloyd Zaye.

She was a proud graduate and instructor of the Art Institutes of America. She was an accomplished painter and graphic designer. She also enjoyed hobbies of piano, knitting, and crochet.

She is survived by her children Sharon Barnard, Billy Barnard, Linda Chapman, Floyd A. Smith, Jr., and Tomi Grubb, as well as 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

There will be a public viewing on Tuesday, June 23, from 5pm – 7pm, at the Olmstead funeral home in Heber Springs, AR. The funeral will be held at 10am, on Wednesday, June 24 at the Olmstead funeral home, followed by a grave side service at the Center Chapel Cemetery, in Wilburn, AR.
