Tyler Menninga made it a weekend to remember at Verizon Arena, sweeping Friday and Saturday’s event points titles in his Grave Digger truck, edging Linsey Read in the Scooby-Doo truck 34-32 Friday night before holding off Trent Montgomery in the Razin’ Kane truck 26-19 Saturday night.

Racing kicked off Friday’s festivities, as Grave Digger edged Xtermigator at the finish line in the finals, leading to Razin’ Kane taking the top spot in the two-wheel skills challenge over Scooby-Doo 8.1 to 7.6. Menninga collected his second win of the night in the donuts category, but slipped into second place in the points standings after Read, who was featured in last Wednesday’s edition, put up an impressive score of 9.316 in the final event, freestyling. Menninga went last to end the night, impressing the crowd with his awe-inspiring tricks while putting together a final performance that resulted in a 9.451 score from the fans, giving him the overall trophy.

It was a different day, but same result on Saturday, as Menninga took home victories in racing, two-wheel skills, and donuts to pull the broom on the weekend. Read bounced back in the freestyle category, where she came so close to taking gold the previous night, striking it rich after topping Grave Digger 9.3 to 8.6. Consistent finishes for Montgomery put Razin' Kane in the second spot, as Jack Brown in Xtermigator edged out Read for representation on the podium.

Menninga, whose truck bears the name of the most legendary monster truck of all-time, proved to be a favorite with the Arkansas audience, telling them that of all the events of 2018, Friday night's spectators provided one of the best atmospheres he had seen to date.
